The past couple of weeks have been full of deadlines for me. This has been great for my business, and time management has been vital in helping me to succeed.
Here are some of my methods for successfully juggling deadlines:
Plan ahead - I use my schedule to plan what I should start on first, and how many days I will need to complete and review what I am working on.
Use a schedule - Without my calendar I wouldn’t be able to keep track of everything going on! Whether you use a paper diary or an electronic one, I find this to be the best place to keep everything in order.
Set days for set tasks - Often I will tackle set tasks on set days. Whether it be writing a variety of blog posts (like this one!) or press releases, I flag certain days for tasks that are similar. I also have a set day a week to update my social media accounts.
Remember to take time for yourself - Deadlines can be overwhelming, so ensure that you take time for yourself. Go to your favorite coffee shop, visit the gym or treat yourself to an hour of shopping.
