Travel Essentials for a Business Trip

Posted by Laura Dunn on Apr 7, 2015

As I write this post I am in the middle of preparing for a big business trip! I’ve got a busy schedule filled with lots of meetings- and some time for fun too!

WhileI’m looking forward to my trip, getting everything ready can often feel like a stressful experience! Having a checklist helps, and I’m sharing with you my travel essentials for a business trip to spare you from any hassle!

Chargers: Leaving one of my chargers at home would be an absolute fail! I make sure these are the items that I triple check, and always bring a spare lead to charge my phone and computer. I also bring a few plug adaptors when I travel to countries with a different electricity system.

Back-up phone battery: Avoid your phone dying out and bring along a back-up battery. Some of the devices are pretty small and won’t take up a lot of space!

Smart carry-on: Opt for a carry-on bag that’s expandable, doesn’t have to be carried and can hold all of your items so you don’t need to check any luggage.

Emergency kit: Keep a stash of the essential medical supplies as well as some safety pins and buttons in case you have a fashion emergency!

Spare pair of clothes: In case you experience a delay and have to race to your meeting, have a spare set of business appropriate clothes in your carry-on. Don’t forget the lint roller.

Document copies: Keep a copy of your passport, check-in details and your insurance information in your bag just in case you need them.

What essentials do you carry when you’re travelling for business? Let us know in the comments!
